John Bloor is a self-taught artist and printmaker specialising in lino and screen prints, which he hand-prints from his home in Hampshire.

John works with natural media, hand making stencils and employing paper cuts, pencil marks, charcoal, brush, and monoprinting inks. He wants to push forward and champion the fact that screenprinting is a real craft when it involves hand-making the elements and is technically challenging to undertake.

John has long been inspired by places which are special to him, places off the beaten track which instill the feeling of having discovered somewhere secret and they are a strong link through his work. John sells original prints along with cards, garlands and fold-out scenes based on his artwork.
