Jo Harrop has established herself as one of the most unmistakable voices in British jazz. Having signed to London-based jazz label, Lateralize Records, she released her debut Weathering The Storm in May 2020, with guitarist, Jamie McCredie. Jo Harrop’s album The Heart Wants was released October 2021, followed by the award-winning When Winter Turns To Spring in December 2022, the first album by Jo and pianist/MD, Paul Edis.

Receivingrave reviews everywhere from The Times to The Guardian, The Heart Wants was picked as Jazz Album of The Year 2022, in both the Daily Mail and The Mirror, and has been played extensively on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2 and Jazz FM as well as reaching No. 13 in the US Jazz Album Charts. The single Everything’s Changing was one of the 25 top tracks on XM Sirius/Watercolors for 2022.

Jo's fourth album on Lateralize Records, The Path Of A Tear, was recorded in Los Angeles with legendary producer, Larry Klein, best known for his award-winning work with a long list of iconic artists that include Joni Mitchell, Madeleine Peyroux and Herbie Hancock. The album will be released in June 2024 with launch events in New York, Los Angeles and London.
