After studying printed textiles at Manchester Polytechnic and working as a textile designer for over 30 years, artist Jill Pargeter now enjoys creating a range of decorative objects for the home including cushions, linen figures, keepsakes, lampshades, embroideries and framed textile art. Combining her love of history, nature and poetic verse, Jill's work is inspired by Folk Art and the Arts and Crafts Movement and is made by hand from her original designs to hand screen printing, stitching and finishing.
