I have been working as a textile designer and maker for over 30 years after studying printed textiles at Manchester Polytechnic. I now enjoy creating a range of decorative objects for the home including cushions, linen figures, keepsakes, lampshades, embroideries and framed textile art which combine my love of history, nature and poetic verse. My work is inspired by Folk Art and the Arts and Crafts Movement and is made by my own hands from original designs to hand screen printing, stitching and finishing.
