A latecomer to pottery, Jayne has embraced the medium with passion, crafting both decorative and functional stoneware. She believes that beautiful, handmade objects should be accessible to everyone - regardless of budget. Jayne’s work with clay is a rooted in the natural beauty of the South West of England. Inspired by the ever-changing coastline, rugged cliffs and moorlands, she creates vessels and lamp bases using coils and slabs of clay, textured to evoke the landscape that inspires her. Her stoneware seed heads are designed with both form and function, these sculptural pieces include small holes providing safe spaces for wildlife to overwinter.
