Imogen Catling is a textile designer whose practice is informed by long-term research into the textile traditions of western India. Since the early 2000s she has travelled regularly to Gujarat, studying regional embroidery and handloom weaving and working in close dialogue with artisan-led organisations.

Imogen shares these influences through collections, research and workshops that explore the stories held within cloth. Her teaching introduces traditional techniques in an accessible way while honouring the skill and cultural context from which they come.
