In 2001 she set up and co- ran an up-cycled textile business with long term friend Alice Butcher, with whom she has co-authored three sewing craft books; Sew Fabulous Fabric, Home Sweet Sewn and Sewing for Kids. For the past 12 years they have collaborated as Alice and Ginny and have helped hundreds of people improve their sewing skills.
