Francis makes characterful original prints inspired by a life-long passion for British wildlife, designed to fetch a smile. She loves drawing and uses all intaglio printmaking methods, but the range of expression that can be gained by manipulating cardboard (or even an old oat milk carton) to create a collagraph is really very exciting!

Each and every print is inked up by hand and run through a traditional etching press - a slow, rhythmical and meditative process. The magic of that peel and reveal as the image emerges always makes the effort worth it! As well as original prints, Francis brings greetings cards and notebooks based upon her original designs.
