Farnham Youth Choir

Now in its fortieth year of choral excellence, Farnham Youth Choir has developed into a family of choirs that supports children to achieve extraordinary things through a shared love of singing.

Training Choir

Wednesdays (term-time only), 5.15pm-6.15pm

FYC's Training Choir is a singing group for girls and boys in school years 2-4, conducted by Claire Robins. The choir is open to all children in this age group and there is no audition. The ambience is relaxed with an emphasis on enjoyment.

Junior Choir

Wednesdays (term-time only), 5.15pm-6.45pm

Junior Choir is an upper-voice choir of girls and boys in school years 5-7, led by Margaret O’Shea. Margaret works on developing the young voices and training them to read music in preparation for the Senior Choir.

Senior Choir

Wednesdays (term-time only), 5.15pm-7pm

FYC's Senior Choir is a mixed, upper-voice choir of up to 50 young singers aged 11-18 from a wide catchment area. The musical director is Patrick Barrett. The choir performs to a very high standard across a broad repertoire of both sacred and secular pieces.

Free open rehearsals are held at the beginning of each term. See fyc.org.uk/joinus or email joinachoir@fyc.org.uk.

FYC has a bursary fund to ensure that no young singer misses out for financial reasons.
