Emma Homent is the creative brain behind modern craft brand, The Makers Marks. Known for her love of colour, Emma’s designs fuse the cute retro regalia she’s nostalgic for with a contemporary aesthetic.

She has had an almost lifelong love affair with needlepoint, having been taught it at the age of six years old by her mum, who was desperate to find something to get the bouncy young Emma to sit still for a bit, and it was a great success!

In 2020 Emma launched the popular #stitchmondays, a weekly Instagram showcase of the huge variety of needlepoint stitches out there.

Emma is a regular contributor to craft magazines.
