Chalk Wovens was started over a decade ago by Kerry Stokes and partner, Richard Bush. They originally met at art college in Farnham, Kerry studying Woven Textiles and Richard Ceramics! They decided to draw on their design and business expertise and set up ‘Chalk’. The company offers contemporary, smart, woven products, designed by Kerry on a handlooom in Brighton where Chalk is based. The designs are then woven at a mill in Scotland. All the items are expertly crafted by the Chalk team back in Brighton.
