festival exhibitor

Caroline’s work is an exploration of the fragile beauty of the natural world, translated through the medium of glass. Inspired by the ethereal colours and textures of nature, she pushes the boundaries of her medium to build captivating and tactile surfaces. While employing a range of kiln-forming methods, Caroline is drawn to pâte-de-verre, a glass casting technique. She blends her own colours from a diverse palette of coloured glass frits and powders and may also incorporate precious metal leaf such as silver, platinum or gold onto her work, further enriching its visual and tactile qualities.
