Largely self taught, Bonner Studio use traditional leather working techniques and tools to make each piece entirely by hand. Initially Jeremy explored archaic forms of luggage - their shape, form and construction, and he continues to explore the properties of leather through wet moulding, but now as a direct response to their immediate environment. The cycle journey to the studio as part of the creative routine is as important as time spent in the studio, allowing a familiarity with the woods and hedgerows, wildlife and the colours of the landscape.
