Black Isle Yarns
Black Isle Yarns is based in the Scottish Highlands where Julie produces beautiful minimally processed yarns from local wool. Every fleece is hand selected and then spun in the UK and is fully traceable from farm to yarn. As well as offering yarns in their natural undyed shades Julie naturally dyes them with locally foraged dye plants and sustainably sourced natural dye material.
Julie has a range of patterns designed in her yarns which includes Perspectives, a book and design collection inspired by the landscape and wool of the Highlands.
