Beach Shack Project

Beach Shack Project is run by Hannah Elspeth Marshall and features a range of coastal inspired art and jewellery. Hannah grew up in Cornwall, and now lives in Brighton, so the sea and the materials she finds there have always influenced her work. Her jewellery is made using predominately beach found materials; seashells, sea-glass and pottery. Seaweeds are gathered from the beach and preserved to make botanical art prints using a technique similar to flower pressings. Hannah also likes to paint creatures from the coastline, like cormorants, sharks and lobsters, but her favourite animal to illustrate is the grey seal!
