Anne has been making jewellery in Hove since 2002. Her practice is based on direct engagement with the material, and focused on the ancient hammer technique of anticlastic raising. This produces light, strong sculptural forms, which are highly organic, curling, spiralling and twisting. Her jewellery is made from recycled silver (and some recycled gold). Some of it incorporates semi-precious gemstones. Some items are made from a single piece of sheet metal; others from repeating forms joined in sequence. Some of the silver work is wholly or partly plated with yellow gold.
