Amy Stringer

Modern Traditional. Traditional jewellery and ceramic techniques with a modern twist and architectural influence.
Sterling silver is hand formed into items from delicate studs to
statement chains, inspired by traditional techniques including
loop in loop chain. Statement pieces are detailed with Amy’s
signature use of cement. Alongside jewellery, Amy hand
carves stoneware clay inspired by the Kurinuki technique,
creating ceramics ranging from mugs to decorative objects;
glazed in a carefully selected colour palette. Amy’s work sits
at the intersection of heritage craft and modernist design, with
multidisciplinary works highlighting both her metal and
ceramic practices, exploring the bridge between decorative
and functional.
