Press Release
Farnham Maltings partnered up with local charities and organisations to Wrap Up Farnham. The project sought to make sure everyone who needs one, has a warm coat through the colder months this winter.
Wrap Up Farnham is a new initiative for the town, inspired by the London model from Hands On London, gathering unwanted or unused coats from the people of Farnham and distributing them via local charities and partners who support a variety of people including families, the elderly, those sheltering from domestic abuse and those who are homeless. Through partnering with local charities, the coats are guaranteed to reach someone in need in the surrounding area. Sadly, those living in crisis is rising and a warm coat through the winter months can be a lifesaver.
"Every time we have asked, the community of Farnham has responded with astonishing generosity. Our ambition is that Wrap Up Farnham will make a difference to anyone who needs a warm coat this winter."Gavin Stride, Director
