The Riverside Café Gallery is pleased to welcome Jenny Reynolds with an exhibition exploring the art of paper-cutting and collage. Jenny's work expresses lively ideas which are full of warmth and joy.

With imagery which is mostly figurative, this collection brings together Jenny’s fun and lively pictures and posters. The artworks are created using a mixture of materials, including beautiful handmade papers from the local art shop Pullingers, as well as more generic and scrap paper, mostly from The Guardian newspaper Saturday supplement with its matte texture and wonderfully vibrant colours.
Jenny Reynolds' relationship with paper stems back to her childhood. Growing up in Formby, West Lancashire, Jenny’s father worked in her grandfather's wallpaper and decorating business so Jenny was always surrounded by incredibly beautiful wallpaper pattern books, paper and paint, proving early inspiration for her creative process.
Jenny does not have a website or social media, she just makes it for the love it, so this is her way of sharing her amazing work.

Artist Bio:
Jenny Reynolds has been drawing and playing with paper her whole life and is an illustrator, (mono)printer and collagist. Having lived in Farnham for 30 years, Jenny worked as an artist volunteer at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice for 15 years, helping to run the "Brush with Art" group which was enjoyed by attendees and volunteers alike. Jenny was accepted as an exhibiting member of Farnham Art Society in 2005 and had work selected at The Lightbox (Woking) in the Surrey Open Art Event in both 2010 and 2012 selling at the private view in 2010.
