Farnham Maltings are seeking a freelance dance artist with an interest in youth work for non-dancers and those with experience alike. As the regular lead artist, we are looking for someone who can confidently co-create within the group and work collaboratively with young people.

Maltings Youth Dance Company is a dance group that will meet regularly to explore different forms of dance that may not be discovered in a standard dance school such as, dance for screen, festivals and emerging contemporary works. The group is contemporary with a fusion of other styles influenced by the young people’s specific interests and areas of curiosity. We are looking for an artist who is adaptable and whose practices are responsive to the young people’s individual needs.

The role is initially supported by New Adventures who will provide mentorship to the successful candidate.
