Join us for a playful and experimental zine-making workshop, inspired by the museum’s latest exhibition, Handmade in Farnham.

Zines are cheaply printed, DIY magazines which have been around since the 1930s. They are dedicated to a particular subject and can include text, images, artwork, found objects, or any other creative material that helps to express its message.

This free workshop will allow you to experiment with materials and play with ideas for your zine. There will be the chance to try collage, stamping, drawing, stitching and stencilling. All materials will be provided, but you’re also welcome to bring your own items too.

Inspired by the name of our latest exhibition, we will be working to the theme of ‘Hands’, though you are welcome to do your own thing.
