Curious about how different fibres behave on your needles? Want to know how a yarn will look before committing to a project? This session will be a hands-on exploration of fibre, texture, and performance.

You’ll swatch with a variety of yarns, feel the difference and understand how fibre content, twist and ply affect your knitting. This workshop will help you build confidence in choosing the right yarn for your projects and inspire your stash!

Materials/tools required:

• one pair of 4mm needles (straight or circular, knitters choice)
• pen

Suitable for all abilities. Participants should be confident in casting on and off, and purling without being shown.
