This introductory up-cycling embroidery workshop is a gentle, creative starting point for transforming once-loved garments into something personal and wearable.

Perfect for beginners, this class focuses on building confidence and learning practical techniques you can use again and again.

You’ll begin by choosing a garment to work with and learning how to plan embroidery placement so it enhances the shape and wear of the piece. We’ll explore how to use stick & stitch patches to transfer designs easily and accurately onto clothing. Ideal if drawing directly onto fabric feels intimidating or impossible on darker garments. During the session, you’ll learn which embroidery stitches work best on garments, with a focus on durability, flexibility, and stitches that age beautifully with wear and washing.

You’ll start stitching your design in class, with guidance on thread choice, stitch length, and how to avoid common mistakes when embroidering clothing.

Please bring the garment you want revamp. All other materials provided.
