Learn how to make a 46cm square zipped cushion.

You will learn a selection of skills including measuring, cutting and joining fabrics and inserting a zip using a zip foot. You will finish off your cushion by adding a decorative border and securing raw seams.

This is a great class to learn how to simply make zipped decorative cushions that can be given as gifts, used to furnish your home and be made time and time again.

You will need to have basic sewing machine experience for this class.

You will be provided with the use of a Janome sewing machine, a worksheet, continuous zip & slider and option to purchase fabric, (should this be required).

Materials required:

• 50cm x 100cm Cotton fabric for soft furnishings use, (you will have option to purchase from my fabric stash)
• Basic sewing kit (scissors, threads, pins, fabric pen)
• Notepad & pen for making notes.
