Join us in celebrating the first locally and communally produced linen garment in the UK in 200 years, using yarn spun at a UK-based linen mill. Meet the group of flax growers, share their exciting story, and view their wonderful creations.

Part of the nationally celebrated Sustainable Fashion Week (SFW 24), this event aims to recognise the importance of forgotten heritage crafts. Members of the Let’s Grow Flax community group, led by skilled textile craft artisans Brigitte Kaltenbacher and Ginny Farquhar, will be providing demonstrations of the fibre extraction process and displaying samples of their own textile pieces.
