Create a beautiful handcrafted Christmas decoration in this festive pyrography workshop with Ruth Wheeler. This enjoyable session will introduce you to the art of woodburning while making a unique beech bauble to treasure or gift.

The workshop begins with practice exercises on a sample burn sheet, where you will learn essential pyrography techniques and gain confidence using the woodburning tool. Ruth will demonstrate how to create different marks, shading and textures before guiding you through the design process. Once you feel comfortable, you will sketch your chosen design onto a smooth beech wood bauble using pencil before carefully burning it into the surface. You can keep your decoration natural and elegant, or add colour and a touch of festive sparkle to make it truly unique. With plenty of individual support throughout, you'll leave with a finished bauble ready to hang on your tree or give as a special handmade gift.

Additional beech baubles will also be available to purchase on the day if you would like to create more than one decoration.
