Working from a live model, join artist tutor Jo Shepherd for a day of portrait painting in oils.

Beginning with an introduction to the fundamentals of oil painting, learn how to use shape, line and tonal values to create a portrait with the aim of capturing a likeness of the sitter.

Suitable for all abilities.

All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own paints and brushes if you wish. Please wear old clothes and/or an apron as oil paints can get everywhere!
