This session will cover the basic techniques, tips and tricks required to create your own fabulous 3D felted fungi sculpture, mounted on a natural wood sliver.

Needle felting, as well as being fun to do is also therapeutic, as well as being quite addictive! Continued mindful poking with a special barbed needle into carded sheep wool will slowly transform the wool into the solid form of your design.

You will receive step-by-step guidance from tutor Carol Scicluna, to sculpt the wool into the required component shapes that you will then felt together to to form he distinctive fly agaric.

Whether you're a complete beginner or have many needle felt projects under your belt, come and enjoy this session with like-minded participants.
