Each participant will receive a calligraphy kit to use during the workshop and take home afterwards - including a dip pen holder, nib, ink and detailed practice worksheets.

Discover the art of Modern Calligraphy by learning the fundamental pen strokes with the guidance from experienced tutor, Jodie Rose.
The session will consist of: discovering the lowercase letterforms, joining letters to create beautiful words and phrases before exploring simple flourishing techniques to add elegance and personality to your calligraphy style.
With plenty of individual guidance throughout the session, you'll have the opportunity to develop your technique and confidence at your own pace. By the end of the workshop, you'll create a handwritten greetings card showcasing your new creative skill.
As black ink will be used during the session, we recommend wearing clothing that you don't mind getting marked. If required, please remember to bring your reading glasses.
Suitable for absolute beginners or those with previous experience. Suitable for left-handed.
