Dates & times

Mariia Petrovska is a charismatic bandura player and singer, and one of the rising stars of Ukrainian music. She combines a complete mastery of the bandura with a pure, emotive voice, making Ukrainian traditional music sound utterly fresh and contemporary.
Mariia has won multiple all-Ukrainian and international bandurist competitions in Ukraine. After the Russian invasion, she left Ukraine to live in the UK and is currently studying songwriting and performance at the British Irish Modern Music University (Manchester). She continues to use her music as a voice for Ukraine.
This concert is organised by Folk Inspiration as a partnership event with Invisible Visible, a new exhibition by Ukrainian photographer Natalia Sharomova and the Ukrainian Art Group at the art for wellbeing charity, Creative Response.
The photography exhibition is open throughout September in the Foyer Gallery at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham.
