La Bohème marks the feature-film debut of Olivier Award–winner Robin Norton-Hale, CEO of English Touring Opera.
A classic reborn in 21st-century East London. A tale of love and tragedy, beauty and decay, Puccini’s La Bohème is one of the world's best-loved operas.
This version was first performed on stage by the company Opera Up Close to huge critical acclaim, winning Best New Opera Production at the 2011 Laurence Olivier Awards. Continuing to perform to sellout audiences at London’s Little Opera House and London’s Soho Theatre, it has recently become the world’s longest continuously running opera.
