Join us at our jewellery workshop for older children where we will be making Kumihimo bracelets.

Kumihimo is the ancient Japanese art of braiding. In Japanese, the word "Kumihimo" means gathering threads. It is a great technique, easy to learn and creates so many different designs. Just changing the threads used; the colour combinations; the shape of the disc or adding beads gives you really different styles of Kumihimo jewellery.

During this workshop you will learn all about Kumihimo and how to use the disc. You will choose your colour combinations from a selection of silk cords and how to weave and finish the bracelet . We will have time to make more than one bracelet.
