In this mixed media workshop, you will learn about colour and delve in to the relationship between word and image.

Using a variety of materials and approaches to drawing and collage, you will seek to create dynamic visual conversations between word, colour, shape and line in the form of a vibrant concertina book. A vehicle for creative experimentation, artist books are wonderful examples of image and object combined in one art form.

In this workshop, you will learn how to use colour, form, texture and composition in unique ways to convey mood and emotion. The various collage approaches will culminate in arranging your explorations into abstraction into an artist book.
