This welcoming workshop is for experienced singers who want to build confidence with vocal improvisation, or choir leaders who would like to learn and share a new technique with their members.

Unlike a traditional choir, there’s no sheet music or set arrangements. We begin in a circle with breathing and vocal warmups, then introduce key improvisation tools; movement, rhythm, harmony, and hand gestures. These are then brought to life through vocal layering to create spontaneous, live compositions.

You’ll sharpen your listening and ensemble skills, discover new ways to create rhythm and harmony in the moment and leave with a renewed love of singing, new ideas and a smile from creating instant song. It’s musical, calming and a lot of fun.
