Briggs & Stark have joined forces to create a captivating blend of Americana and folk music, with a tickle of flute. Sitting the same vein as, The Shires, Ward Thomas and Of Monsters & Men, the duo found their paths merging almost unexpectedly in 2020, amidst the backdrop of the pandemic.

Both halves of this dynamic duo have created music as part of separate projects. Briggs is the driving force behind the catchy hooks of Americana band Downtown Roundabout and Claudia Stark tells stories of human nature and heartbreak in her indie-folk solo venture. Together they blend their respective genres to create lyrics that embody the art of cherishing life, revelling in companionship, and being steadfast allies through every high and low.

Whilst the pair have only recently started writing and performing together, they have collectively accumulated over 20 years of live music experience including local shows, national festivals and even busking on the streets of New Zealand.

Briggs & Stark released their second single Through This in March and are set to release their debut EP Starting Something in June.
