Call-Out for Demonstrators
We're looking for craftspeople to give live demonstrations at our 30th anniversary of Festival of Crafts and help bring traditional and contemporary crafts to life for visitors.

Whether you work in textiles, wood, basketry, ceramics, stone, metal, paper, or any other craft discipline, we'd love to hear from you. Demonstrations can be a great way to share your skills, talk about your craft, and connect with people who are interested in handmade work.
While we are unable to offer a demonstration fee, makers will receive free space in our outdoor courtyard to demonstrate and showcase a small amount of their work, opportunities to take commissions, and promotion through our event publicity.
Eligibility:
Makers must be able to meet the following brief…
- Makers will be expected to attend the festival on both days – 10 & 11 October 2026. Opening hours will be from 10am - 4pm.
- Demonstrations and pitches will be outside in our Courtyard. Gazebos will be provided.
- You should be prepared to work on your own craft, using your own materials.
- We are looking for craftspeople who enjoy talking to visitors about their work and sharing the skills, techniques and traditions behind their craft. Demonstrations should be engaging and encourage interaction, giving visitors the chance to learn more about the craft and the person behind it. This is a great opportunity to showcase your work, raise awareness of your craft and connect with new audiences.
- We can provide lunch for makers which will be delivered to their location.
