International Briefings

international resources

get to know the arts scene around the world before you visit

Too often international touring only allows the briefest experience of a place and doesn’t leave much time to connect to the people or culture. These panel discussions will give you a local perspective on making and touring work, the funding ecology and key conversations to ensure you’re in the know before you go.

The internet connection during the recording was intermittent. At times this impacts on the quality of the video and audio in the recording but not throughout. The panellists expressed that this is one of the realities in Egypt and should be considered before embarking on remote collaborations.

Please note this International Briefing contains infrequent references to disabled art practice in language that might be considered outdated in the UK.
