• We prioritise working with contractors and suppliers who share our environmental values, using sustainability and locality as key selection criteria.
• Around 70% of the products in our shop are sourced from makers based in Farnham and Surrey, supporting local and sustainable production.
• We partner with sustainable brands and independent makers wherever possible.

Energy & Buildings

• LED lighting has been installed in sections of the building, with plans to expand this further.
• Heating and lighting are not in use in unused spaces.
• Light sensors are installed in selected areas, and electric heaters are set on timers to reduce unnecessary energy use.

Sustainable Travel

• We encourage our visitors, staff, visiting artists and freelancers to choose sustainable travel options wherever possible.

• Bike racks are available outside the front of our building to encourage low-carbon travel.

Cleaning & Facilities

• We avoid environmentally harmful cleaning products and use eco-friendly alternatives, with Ecover as our main supplier of cleaning products.

Plans for the future

• We are introducing a new recycling station in our foyer to encourage and support responsible waste disposal by visitors and staff.
• We are exploring opportunities to install more sustainable and renewable energy sources across our buildings.
