James Wright is a Northern Irish sound-maker and educator. He works as a technical tutor and associate lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts, where his goal is to get students excited about the fascinating world of audio.

His work in sound editing and design has featured in several award-winning short films. He also produces music under the alias Bananafish, which explores the sculptural and spatial qualities of sound; blending electronic textures and organic field recordings to create vast sonic landscapes.
