When one has completed a project that you are proud of, it is important that it is sewn up correctly to achieve the "perfect look"

In this class you will cover:

  • How to weave in ends
  • How to produce an invisible seam
  • The perfect way to block work
  • There will also be the opportunity to discuss and resolve any issues you have with completing a piece of knitting or crochet

Please note, participants will need to prepare and bring the following:

  • Two 10cm x 10cm square swatches using a smooth DK or Aran weight yarn in stocking stitch. Please leave the ends long, at least 20cm (don’t weave them in!)
  • A wide eyed needle
  • Scissors
  • or a knitted or crocheted item that needs sewing up.

Participants are welcome to bring a knitted or crocheted item that needs sewing up, time permitting, we can discuss techniques.

All abilities are welcome, but participants must be confident with casting on/off, knit and purl.
