Join artist Ruth Wheeler as she teaches the basic techniques in the art of pyrography.

Ruth will explain how to use different machines as well as tips and techniques to help you feel confident in pyrography. You will get various different wooden shapes to practise and work on in the morning and then you can choose a larger sanded planks to create your final design. If there is time you can paint some of your designs and Ruth will explain what paint you can use and how to finish it.

If you have attended a workshop before you can move on to a more complicated design and explore mixed media within your work.

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

Please bring photocopies or sketches for inspiration.
