Key Players is thrilled to be returning to the Maltings to bring you a new adaptation of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Our setting is Farnham during World War II - think Land Army girls, Canadian soldiers billeted in Aldershot, Open Air Dances, a Dad’s Army inspired Home Guard and live singing from the Andrews Sisters!

This is an immersive, promenade production. You will move around the venue with us, with scenes set in the Tindle Studio, Courtyard and Cellar Bar. Eat with us, dance with us, laugh with us… this is Shakespeare as he works best - entertaining and relatable!

Much Ado About Nothing is directed and adapted by Key Players’ founder, Sophie Key. We are delighted to return to the Maltings this summer after our much-acclaimed previous productions of Little Women in 2023, Peter Pan in 2021 and The Little Match Girl in 2019.
