One of the UK’s leading theatres is joining the streaming party! The renowned Bristol Old Vic will be bringing some of their best and most beloved shows to the small screen (via YouTube). The streaming beings on 15 May with The Encounter an immersive experience of being lost in the Amazon rainforest. You’ll want your headphones to truly submerge into the production! Further productions include Messiah, A Monster Calls and Grinning Man.

This week you can enjoy the stunning Barber Shop Chronicles (2018), Inua Ellams’ smash-hit play about the places where banter can be barbed, and the truth always is telling, directed by Olivier award-winning director Bijan Sheibani. Further NT at home content coming up includes A Streetcar Named Desire (2014), This House (2013) and Coriolanus (2014).
Little Angel Theatre has partnered with director, designer and puppeteer Toby Olié to stream his performance of Ross Collins’ picture book, What Does an Anteater Eat?
You can watch the performance on the Little Angel Theatre YouTube channel on Sunday 17 May 2020 at 11am. It’s free to access and aimed at children ages 2-5 and their families. It will be available to watch until Tuesday 01 September 2020.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Cats’ will be streamed at 7pm on 15 May and is available for 24 hours. ‘Cats’ first opened in the West End in 1981. ‘Memory’, one of its many classic songs, became an instant worldwide hit.
