Following a successful trial run of joint programming last October with Kill the Beast’s hilarious production of He Had Hairy Hands, Farnham Maltings and the West End Centre are once again joining forces this Autumn. The theatres will be showing 2 productions over two successive days to enable more people locally to experience some of the freshest and most innovative touring theatre.

Albee Vector: Sound Collector, by Green Light Theatre Farnham Maltings – Tue 25 October, 2.30pm & West End Centre – Wed 26 October, 2.30pm
Half Term family fun for ages 4+

Who doesn’t love making funny noises? Come along and meet Albee, he collects sounds and he needs your help to make some new ones. Find out how Albee and his love Andromeda survived kings, curses and cruelty on their quest for beautiful sound in the world.

Sounds are running low so Albee will need a few more noises to tell this particular story… Can you help him? He’ll need you to make popping, fizzing, hissing, clopping, whizzing, whooshing, banging, crashing, and probably a fart a noise or two!

Greenlight Theatre was founded in 2011 by Sam Woolf and Sadie Spencer. The company engages with how technology opens up communication channels and affects the way we think and behave.
This tour is presented by house.

From Ibiza to the Norfolk Broads, by Adrian Berry Farnham Maltings – Tue 29 November, 7.30pm & West End Centre – Wed 30 November, 8pm
For ages 16+

Martin is a boy with problems – an illness no-one understands and a head full of sound and vision. So when an unexpected gift arrives on his birthday, Martin embarks on a thrilling journey in the footsteps of his obsession, leading him to discover some long-hidden truths about himself. What follows will change his life forever…

Powerful and touching, music and magic realism collide in this darkly funny and moving tour-de-force solo show featuring Alex Walton and the voice of comedian Rob Newman. With a blistering Bowie soundtrack, the life of the pop fan is dissected in this tale of unnatural teenage wildlife.

This brand new and updated production sold out runs in London, Edinburgh and Germany.
