Share your stories, join the cast and watch the shows

Be a part of an extraordinary new musical about ordinary people, exploring how all of us have a story worth telling.

Ordinary People began life in Maidstone, Kent, supported in part by Farnham Maltings and now it’s Farnham’s turn.

Multi-award-winning composer and lyricist Darren Clark (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), will be collecting real stories from local people. These stories will then be transformed into a musical event that paints a vibrant and beautiful picture of our town, and we need your help to make sure as many voices as possible are included.

Here's how you can get involved...

share a story

Are you a resident of Farnham or its surrounding areas? We want to hear from you! Tell us about your experience of living in our community, and your story may be turned into a song. We are looking for all stories from the ordinary to the extraordinary so get in touch and tell us all about you! Click here to submit your story.

Deadline for submissions: Mon 18 March 2024

join the cast

In early 2024 we are looking for community performers to join our professional cast for the development of Ordinary People: The Farnham Musical. After a period of research and development, we will create a short sharing of some songs and scenes to be performed to an invited audience.

Auditions will be held on Sat 02 March 2024.
