explore how creative writing can benefit your mental and emotional wellbeing

6 weeks of interactive workshops are designed to get you writing more or assist you in starting to write creatively for the first time.

Award-winning local novelist and therapist, Joanna Barnard, leads sessions exploring how writing creatively can benefit your mental and emotional wellbeing. Exercises include experimenting with different writing styles, including journaling, poetry and short stories.

The course focuses on the process rather than the product and is suitable for adults of all ages and those with little or lots of writing experience.

Find the latest course to book by visiting the workshops section on our What's On page.
