The Slow Yarn Spinner

Ruth Jenkins sat on a seat by a river in a quaint town.

The Slow Yarn Spinner is about celebrating the joy of creating slowly. We put sustainability first with yarns, spinning kits, workshops and online courses that use traceable wool from farm to fabric, and other materials that have been saved from going to landfill. Spinning courses teach traditional hand spinning and wool processing methods and showcase the variety and versatility of British wool. They are tailored particularly to people who live in towns and cities and may not have access to raw materials, and aim to boost the confidence and creativity of spinners no matter where they live.
