Most of my work is hand thrown porcelain, with a twist put into the wall on the final pull, giving each piece its own identity. A swirl of cobalt in the centre reflects on the internal walls, evoking memories of the sea and sky. I have also been experimenting with bone China, relishing the lightness achieved by slip casting and the smoothness of the resulting pieces.
