Catherine Ireton is curious. She is a singer, a songwriter, an actress and a theatre maker. She is interested in hidden spaces, in locked doors, secret passageways and treasure hunts. Performing mostly in intimate and unusual spaces, she aims to create music that has a direct and immediate connection with the space and the audience.

Previous collaborations include Belle and Sebastian, God Help the Girl, Go Away Birds and Elephant. She has performed her own music in a taxidermy museum, the Usher Hall, the Union Chapel, Brighton Dome and has performed live sets on Marc Riley’s BBC Radio 6 show.
