Museum of Farnham, Closure Statement, Tuesday 17 March 2020*
Following the latest government advice we have, with regret, decided to temporarily close the Museum of Farnham and our public hire space known as the garden gallery.
The health and safety of our staff, visitors and volunteers is of the utmost importance and we will be exploring in the coming hours and days ways we can care for the community of Farnham.
The closure will last for at least until Easter from today.
This is a situation without precedence, thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through how best we respond. Now is a time to be kind, support our most vulnerable and work together. We will contact all bookers and stakeholders as soon as possible and will let you know when we are able to reopen and look forward to welcoming you back.
Normal opening hours (please see above*)
Tuesday to Saturday
10am to 5pm (except bank holidays and Christmas)
The Museum of Farnham is located at the Alton end of West Street in the centre of the town.
Our nearest car park is in the Lower Hart (next to Waitrose). There is two hour parking outside the Museum, although availability is sometimes limited.
Coaches can drop off and pick up outside the Museum, and there are coach spaces in The Hart next to the public toilets.
