Job Description

We are delighted to be participating in the Government’s ‘Kickstart Scheme’ which supports unemployed young people aged 16 – 24. To be eligible to apply for this scheme, candidates must be registered with their local Job Centre Plus and receiving Universal Credit.

The aim of the Kickstart Scheme is to support young people to gain the skills and confidence they need to secure long-term employment at the end of their placement. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn new skills, engage with the community and receive training during their placements with us.

The Farnham Maltings are seeking to recruit 3 young people via this scheme into the following 2 roles:-

  • Sales & Events Assistant ( two placements offered) - 25 hours per week
  • Museum Assistant (one placement offered) – 25 hours per week
